Desiccant Rotor

Super Desiccant Polymer, SDP

SDP, a polymer dehumidifying agent, was developed by the Korea Institute of Science & Technology and was patented in Korea, the USA, and Germany. Its moisture absorption performance is 4~5 times superior to the existing inorganic desiccant materials such as silica gel or zeolite.

SDP itself has antibiotics & deodorizing characteristics. So, no virus & mold etc. grow and it is environmentally harmless. The characteristic of deodorization in a desiccant rotor conducts the function to remove the existing harm & bad-smell component indoors.

  • Bacteria strain...pseudomonas aeruginosa, escherichia coli, salmonella typhimurium, staphylococcus aureus.
  • Tested by Korea Conformity Laboratories in Korea.

How Desiccant Rotor works

SDP (Super Desiccant Polymer), a polymer dehumidifying agent, is a dehumidifying agent developed by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology and registered as a patent (Korea, US,Germany), compared to conventional inorganic dehumidifying agents such as silica gel and zeolite. Moisture absorption performance is 4 to 5 times. It is excellent.

  • As the outside high humid air passes through the processing zone of the desiccant rotor, the moisture is absorbed in the internal desiccant material of the honeycomb matrix.
  • Processing zone absorbed moisture moves to the regenerating zone by rotation and the moisture is expelled to the outside by heated air passing through the regenerating zone.
  • The desiccant Rotor is continuously used with repetition of absorption & regeneration by rotation.
